The 118238 I had let go a while back.
Unfortunately other things came up so it had to go (despite this, I regret letting it go). But now that things have stabilized for me, I may be in a place (in a while) to afford this 228239. It would probably be one of my last watches I ever get. I think after it, there is perhaps only a Moritz Grossmann in the picture, or perhaps a sporty Rolex, like the Exp. II or Milgauss GV.
I think my grail or goal watch has made itself clear!

I think it's sensible.
I realized that I need to enjoy my watches and also have ones that I can wear in many situations. It's easy to get interested in dress watches—which have their merits—but I fear I'm not willing to take them on, except maybe in limited cases, like the VC T...

IMO, the best looking in the current line up of DD is the everrose with green dial but that one you can’t wear everyday. This one you can. It flies under the radar and you don’t need to worry as much about getting mugged while wearing it.
