The associate also told me immediately available...good thing I can't yet justify it or else I'd have promptly rid myself of my dollars...

Is it platinum (you say it’s heavy) or grey gold?

Unfortunately other things came up so it had to go (despite this, I regret letting it go). But now that things have stabilized for me, I may be in a place (in a while) to afford this 228239. It would probably be one of my last watches I ever get. I think ... 

I realized that I need to enjoy my watches and also have ones that I can wear in many situations. It's easy to get interested in dress watches—which have their merits—but I fear I'm not willing to take them on, except maybe in limited cases, like the VC T... 

First and foremost, I like to wear what I own, but also keep it in good working order. I know servicing is expensive, especially at the higher end. So, I would want to keep a rotation of about 5 to 6 watches that I wear very regularly, including my dress ... 

This is a very sweet Rolex. And it will never get old!

IMO, the best looking in the current line up of DD is the everrose with green dial but that one you can’t wear everyday. This one you can. It flies under the radar and you don’t need to worry as much about getting mugged while wearing it.
