Thanks guys

Already been to an AD...several times...that is what caused this conundrum!! :P  My wrist in an AD is like a drunk man in a club...falls in love quite easily sad

Thanks for the welcomes.  The fact that they both have a long history do make them appealing.  I would love to end up with both but I'm relatively young and am striving for (relative) fiscal discipline...how that will turn out the more I frequent this site remains to be seen wink

To be honest I had no interest in the ceramic GMT as in pictures it just didn't do it for me; however, in person I was hooked!  Beautiful watch!  I read a lot of complaints about the PCL but I'm wearing a RO now so I can't imagine it'd be 'that' much different(?).  Having said that, I'm sure we all have our suspicions of the 14060M being updated at Basel with new dial, bezel, clasp etc. so getting a new SubND before they're discontinued seems strangely appealing...I have a small wish to keep my watches for a long, long time and so to end up with vintage pieces that I purchased new.  Perhaps as new models keep on coming out the trinky-dinky bracelet and clasp (which I've read is very comfortable) will turn into a unique merit (like Cindy Crawford's mole) or perhaps I'll think "this is a piece of..." biggrin  Who knows?

I also considered going the vintage route by primarily looking at, what else, 1680's (red submariners).  However, I decided to go the new route and hopefully create my own (although good condition red subs with nice patina are gorgeous).

Thanks for the replies so far.

Best,

Will.
