Nicolas, Chung, Alex and Dreamer, this is one of my very first Rolex watches I bought!
I found it in a local antiques shop in 1994. I always liked this watch so much, that I never intended to sell it or to trade it in!

Not like with my gilt 5513 which I bought at the same shop a few months later for the price of approximate 12 bottles of French Champagne.
I wore it for a half year or so, and sold it to my brother because that time I had an exclusive, shopperfriendly girlfriend, who likes to go out everyday and having fun with sparkling wine! ;-) The prices of vintage Rolex's exploded over the past 15 years, so that I have to pay now more then 250 bottles of the finest Champagne to get it back from my brother (talking about the watch,hehehehe, not my Ex)! But it is worth every bottle because, first, I like more the watch as the Champagne and, second, it is easier to find 300 bottles of Champagne as to find an original 100% perfect gilt dial Sub from 1965!!
I will post pictures soon, don't have the watch here for the moment, sorry!
