Thank you all for your warm welcome to this fabulous Rolex Forum. I have learned a lot of new information about many vintage Sub references on this Forum..."Tulip" Crown on vintage gilt 5512's...who knew? I especially enjoy the friendly banter between very experienced Forum posters on Sub dial and hand variants that are not absolutely imperically verified due to the longstanding lack of data available directly from Rolex.
In reading the many posts on vintage Rolex sports references it has become clear that I have been remiss in not posting a wrist shot of my ref 6205 Sub...stay tuned as I will be planning to post my best possible wrist shot within the next day or two. Bill...love the ocean shot of your vintage gilt 5512 Sub...what a treasure!
