Rolex knows Customer Service

In just the last decade (not going to bore you with even more detailed) I took a 16700 in 8 years ago, a 16610 in 3 years ago and a 16600 2 months ago. All to the Rolex Service Center in NYC. In addition, also had a ladies TT MOP dial with diamonds serviced 2 years ago. No complaints. I have only positive things to say. Very detailed communication on every action that they were going to take, what it would cost, what was included in standard service, what was necessary, what was not but would be a good idea to address since the watch was open. Courteous. Thorough. Respectful. Helpful. Watches were returned ahead of delivery date. Quality of service was great. Watches looked new. Not “over polished”. Yes I did have scratches removed. I know people have different opinions on polishing. But I also have a large collection, and am as particular about condition of lugs, edges etc and would not have had them refinished if I didn’t have confidence in Rolex. Why do I get them serviced and returned to a pristine condition...because I actually use my watches. I need to have the confidence that they won’t fail me. Cost of failure would be expensive and let’s just say “complicated”. So I’m fine sending them in for servicing more often than most people. A Rolex has never let me down and nor has RSC.  I wish other companies learned how to treat customers like Rolex and Patek treat them. All equipment and machinery needs regular service and maintenance. Check and Test. Check and Test.

which I was fine with. When I got it back there was just something about it that wasn't right, problem seemed to be with the manual winding and the stem. When you wear a watch for so long you notice little things like that. It ran good and kept excellent ...

it takes exactly 8 weeks to the London service to completely overhaul a Daytona. Probably the best in the industry. Radu

I had my 16610LV serviced recently, it was 7 years old, the winding was quite sticky and it was much needed. Rolex did a fantastic job, it felt like a brand new watch. They buffed scratches from the bracelet, and tightened the clasp. However, one thing th...
