Rolex GMT MASTER 1675 Gilt, II 1966. My first picture, taken 8 years ago.
I have a strange habit. Each time I get a watch, I take a picture of it the very same day.
It was no exception for my 1675 " Argentinian ", full set. At the exception of the box...
The curious thing with that watch is that it took me 15 minutes between the moment I saw it in a parisian watch shop, and the moment it was mine.
Love at first sight.
The flawless deep black glossy dial, the diffrence of patina between the round and rectangular indices, the case condition, the papers and the original invoice convinced me. I had to get it.
Here it is in all its beauty. My very first shot, dating from... April 2010.
Quite spectacular. I just worked on the light, removed the dust on the plexy with photoshop.

and it has a C&I rivet bracelet, i find the rivet bracelets to be one of the most comfy to use.
A QUESTION
Many years ago (early 70's) I purchased a GMT 1675. The Pepsi bezel fell off and I brought it to the AD for replacement. I selected the all black instead of replacing it with same. Does this change the 'purity' of the model?
The Rolex 1675 is a classic for all times.
But each one has an individual character and that's what makes them so easy to fall in love with. So different and so much the same. Enjoy
