Red submariner date
Hello,
First of all be kind with me as french is my motherlinguage .
I own a Rolex red submariner date and have a few questions if anyone could answer them.
I have those ref. on the body of the watch :
1680 ok it is the model ref.
11.71 what is it ?
Caliber 1570 ?
How do I find the year of manufacturing? I think he bought it in the middle 70's but can't remember exactly.
I would like to sell that watch, which was my deceased husband watch . But the original "bracelet" is out . Do I have to replace it by a new one or can I sell the watch without it . 'I still have the old one" I don't know if it is an original one as the watch has been a few times to the factory for maintenance and I know every time when it comes back the watch seemed brand new to me , but as I was not concerned I never pay attention to what have been done.
And last but not least : if you were not interested in it could you tell me, how much should I ask for it, I have no idea as I see many different prices on the web. I don't remember having boxes or paper, I probably trew them years ago ! I know now I shouldn't have !
