Race Results Day 2.
Breguet Marine 5817 still seems to be my most accurate production watch.
After 2 days the results are.
1st. Breguet Marine 5817 Day 2. =01- Seconds
2nd. Brietling Avenger Seawolf Day 2.=03+ Seconds
3rd. Breguet Retrograde 5207 Day 2.=05 to 06+ Hard to read the small hand
4th. Rolex Daytona Day 2. =06+ Seconds
5th. Breguet “Le Reveil du Tsa” 5707 Day 2.=10+ Seconds
6th. Rolex Day Date (A 20 year old) Day 2.=12+ Seconds
7th.Brietling Cronomat Evolution Day 2.=19+ Seconds
I see a pattern happening already which is that the inaccuracy is simular today as it was yesterday. If this continues then that is good... as it would indicate poor adjustment.... rather than an erratic movement.
I also already see...if the pattern continues...that a simple high end watch like a Breguet may run at .75 of a second off time in a day...or a Brietling simple movement might run at around a 2 second error a day.
As complications increase like in the Breguet Retrograde the error is showing a little higher at around 3 seconds per day and as in Breguet Le Reviel du Tsa, a complication with Alarm, a power reserve and a 24 hour time as well, it climbs to around 5 seconds error per day.
OK what about the two Cronographs...Rolex Daytona and Brietlings Cronomat Evolution which has a major difference....does this mean that a little complication introduces a margin of error but Rolex is a more accurate watch than Breitling?
It will be interesting to see if the pattern continues.
Anyone out there want to send in some results on these models so I can get a generalization?
Kindest regards to all,
Jack
