Thanks for this post Robin. I have been on the fence about this particular Rolex for quite some time. I will likely be getting one before the end of this year. I am also looking at the newer version of the Rolex Explorer, but your Air King has got me thin...

Mine gets more than it's fair share of wrist time

Actually one of the finest watch cases that I have ever worn. I’m wearing my sub right now and there is no contest. The milgauss/airking case sits perfectly weighted in the wrist and looks amazing from every angle.

But based on where they seem to be heading with their movement technologies (ie new sub and new OP), it suggests that any truly antimagnetic models will deploy a faraday cage which will therefore use this case. Can you tell that I love this watch case?
