"touched up"...?!? you know how radium looks Jeff...

There's a big difference between a photoshoped picture showing all details of the real deal and one showing white lume on a radium dial as you know that radium always has patina after 50 years as we see in below 6204 of the same article....

So big question is; Isn't that bizar that "we cannot assume that Rolexes own watches are original"?!?...

The point for me in this is that there are NOS pieces with serieus collectors, also already published in the many Rolex book and many more in upcoming publications like "Ultimate Daytona' etc. that're in "all original condition", having the necesary patina and not a relumed dial as we see Geneva is showing the world now....

For me it's a shame and also a blamage towards all the collectors worldwide hunting for every original detail, we all as a big international community, found out after intensive research.....So how can they not think that's important?!? To me it's impossible to understand that they ignore what's happening outside Geneva walls...like checking forums, interacting with collectors, special aftersales for vintage, a museum or publications like books about their Heritage etc. Something, besides correct original lume on publications, so they show the collectors that they are taken serieus what is so important ( see succes Panerai) when you want to transform from current dull $ 'Heiniger' imago to a 'Heritage' oriented one that respecting it's vintage as last Basel stand shows when they don't respect the simpel 'rules' of collecting.

I really hope that they will respond to this minority in a proffesional way and take collecting vintage Rolex more serieus.
