Been getting some wrist time with a few Rolex this last few days.
Decided to break out the heavy hitter (white gold, not pt) for tomorrow and just spent the last 10 minutes remembering how to set and then actually setting the day and date.
For those of you who don’t have to deal with a non quick set day date the setting requires the easy part of first setting the day (not too much crown turning to go manually day by day given that there are only seven days) and then the date.
The date is set by continuously moving the hour hand between 9pm and 3am, back and forth, back and forth as the date wheel clicks over. Unfortunately I was on the 26th and so had a long way to go! 😂
All set for tomorrow though! And another of those perfect 36mm for me! (Appreciate all the replies and discussion around the watch size thread. I still need to reply to several posts, I’ll get there).
Here’s my bad boy Buckley. Artificial light doesn’t show the dials true powder blue side. Here it’s almost a bluish purple.
