Given the huge interest and rise in importance in PN Rolex (not only in monetary terms)
I think this topic should be re-opened and debated. I am looking into a 6262 PN Daytona
and have begone doing research which led my interest in knowing the production
Nrs for this reference. Made only between 69, 70 is one of the rarest PN references.
Anybody can shed some more light on this topic?

so there were a lot more of the 39, 40, 41 and 62s than there were 63, 64 and 65s....suggesting that the latter were rarer? But what i am getting at is, over time, some of you guys must have seen many many PNs. 100s even? I cannot remember how many i have...

the amount of 6239 , 6263 and 6265 steel cases produced is the same. also the amount of 6262, 6264, 6240 and 6241 is roughly the same. to make a comparison for example the ratio between 6239 and 6264 steel cases produced is in the range of 8,8 : 1 .
