Now I'm confused.
I am in the fortunate position of having a great connection within Rolex in Switzerland, but having looked again at your question we are both bemused.
You say that the 116520 is not the "New Daytona."
Yes it is, the old Zenith Daytona was the 16520 (Oh, how I wish that I had held on to the last of those models which I sold at a discount, and thought I was doing well on the deal!!!) The current model has been with us since 2001 and is guaranteed not to be replaced for the next 18 months. And that is straight from the horses mouth, as it were.

The current Daytona in steel, the 116520, is still available and is likely to remain so for at least 18 months. It is hardly ever available in the windows of the AD's as it is still extremely hard to obtain. They still sell at a premium, but they are beco...
