A naive sounding question: Why are these things called Bakelite? Was Bakelite ever used for bezel production? Or is it just a misnomer for acrylic?
As for the watch...not 100% convinced...perhaps it's just the photos but the numbers look too green? Otherwise I think it's a great improvement over the metal bezel, not to mention much more functional...(if the other lume still works

After the GTG and several beers, I was not too confident about my capacities, so I preferred to let people check for me, and they confirmed me that the insert was indeed glowing! Now, it looks like a totally different watch. Best, Nicolas.

I should check that, indeed, to see if it was a acrylic, vynil, bakelite or whatsoever... I would say that it is the same than on the FF Bezels. It is just the photos, Ben, the numbers almost match with the color of the indexes. Sadly the indexes don't gl...
Reasons.
1) you're enjoying the watch more with the new bezel 2) original 'bakelite' bezels are unobtanium... 3) the watch is able to be returned to original state. 4) it looks great Where is this dilemma?
