...and Dr Strong. A naive sounding question: Why are these things called Bakelite? Was Bakelite ever used for bezel production? Or is it just a misnomer for acrylic? As for the watch...not 100% convinced...perhaps it's just the photos but the numbers look...

It was a nice watch with the metal bezel and also now with this new aftermarket one. Regardless if it is the original or not, it is a nice watch indeed. But, be careful with your daughter Best my friend Hans
