The SD is one of the most appealing Rolex, thicker than a Sub, a bit heavier, too, and most of all, no magnifyer for the date, which is a very good thing, even if the magnifyer has become part of the Rolex DNA...
Among the SDs, my favourite is this one, a transitional SD so called Triple 6, a painted maxi dial, and a sapphire glass:
And I'm loving more and more the previous ref, the 1665... For its domed plexy...
So, if you want to have a SD at a reasonnable price, but to get an exciting and true Rolex, yours is probably the best choice!
