Rolex

Well, guys. Having worn the 16600 for a short time now... I've had some thoughts about it and figured I'd share. First off, I really don't know much about Rolex history or the minutia of vintage Rolex collecting, and I have never owned a vintage Rolex. So... 

The SD is one of the most appealing Rolex, thicker than a Sub, a bit heavier, too, and most of all, no magnifyer for the date, which is a very good thing, even if the magnifyer has become part of the Rolex DNA... Among the SDs, my favourite is this one, a...

My choice would be a no crown guard Sub, like a 5508, or even better...6538. I would trade in a second my 16 660 and my Red Sub for a 6538! As I own both the Sub and the SD, I must confess that I have a light preference for the Triple 6... But if I had th...

and I was hoping for a suggestion here. My next Rolex will have to be Vintage. And it will be between and SD and Daytona. Really appreciate the guidance. I also have no idea who to trust in the vintage world, which is another reason I have stayed with the...
