I've always been worried about damaging the screw in crown but now I know it's an easy replacement I feel a lot happier about it...:o) Thanks so much for this Jocke....great pics again. Yours, Andy.

The surfaces will keep the watch dry inside.

Another stupid question, then. Do you know what thread form is used on the crown tube? There must be some sort of interference fit?

What a super guide to doing a job well, with the correct tools. Once you learn and know how to do something like this the right way yourself, there's little chance you will ever be happy leaving the same job to someone else to do.
