Just watched the whole thing. It’s a great piece of marketing. I’m not the biggest Rolex fan but even I can’t help but feel inspired by it.

I've read a fair amount about the history of the company but am always interested in learning more.
My question: The hints about atomic standards
Are they looking to one-up Omega and METAS, and use Atomic timekeeping to become the new reference standard. Not to replace mechanical, but to in effect start a "METAS? That's cute, hold my beer" type of moment.
