Very nice. Any history from the watch or its previous owners ? Considering the rocky history from the seventies and eighties (Junta, Falklands) this watch has problably seen quite some action.

What a beautiful discovery! Nicolas. As you know I love these pieces and their history, like Abel, the past month I lost per few minutes an 7928. Unfortunately it was purchased by a reseller and he only think in the U.S. or Europe market. But "Lady Luck" ...

.. it is only recently, that I learned about role & significance of Tudor watches, vs their Rolex counterparts. If you allow a few newbie's Qs: 1/ was there, at times, a (close) partnership Tudor/ Rolex ? 2/ common cases , dials ? 3/ were they offen issue... 

Dials were very close, even if some had their own " personality ", as, for example, the Sub " Snowflake " 7016 or 94010 / 94110. The biggest difference? The movements, which were outsourced, which is not the case, of course, ,with Rolex watches ( with a f...

Here is another ARA 611xx that I saw in September... And on the same theme here is my last batch 615xx Ci that arrived last week (same serial range as Juan's and very close issue number!) Came, along with a 614xx snowflake (which a pal bought), from a goo...
