I am sure,,,
Some women like smaller watches, something they call feminine. I have tried some of my 40 mm watches on the wrists of my kids and GF and they all find that size too large. Furthermore, they would not like to wear a men's watch.
In my opinion the boys' size 35 mm is just perfect and as a diving watch it is still readable. The 29 mm watch starts to be on the small side.
Even the oversized watches are fashionable, not everybody likes them. I need to keep the bracelet of a Submariner on maximum or to buy one additional link. So my wrist is relatively large. The the same time I do not like to wear i.e. the new Blankpain FF - I find it far too big.
The size is a matter of taste.
