First I must say I am by no means an expert on the 5500 (or any Rolex watches for that matter ) just trying to find common threads to help understand your dial. I did not fin a match to your dial but I did fin a 3.3 mil serial (5500 - 1002 case back 1520 ...

I am sure you have done the research. But there are no good avenues. I did find a Domino dial "Swiss Made" with lume (looks like luminova) and the double index hash marks with lume. How does this compare. All I can see is that your batons seem to be place...  

Here we have a 34mm dial with half second increments, also silver stick like the other Dominos examples. Also like them, the hour plots are further in to allow for the lume plots. Also, those two Domino's were silver dials which seems to be the rule. I al...  

Your dial still remains out of category. White and silver is another consideration. But really can't speak to it. Thanks Bill
