I think the SD was even more rarely seen then. I definitely didn’t recall seeing many, any, around in several years after buying this.

At that time I didn’t like the Sub Date or GMT because of the cyclops. I thought this was much cleaner. But of course, as a relatively new watch buyer I did need a date ! 😂

I have a small chip on the crystal (for more than 20 years) and the insert has some scratches. But the case is fairly clean. Re the hands, they should be. The watch was never serviced !
