Holiday Watch. Poolside thoughts on Pelagos

Selected to be the only and expendable watch for a holiday of up to 8 hours per day of seawater sports, pool water, water slides, saunas, fine and coarse sand, cliff climbing and jumping and sunbathing and no formal dinners. This year I left the usual choice Sinn 157Ti home. Set before departure at 0, Pelagos is now +5s after nearly two weeks of carefree wear; not bothering to position overnight. Ultra readable in the night with no other clock around. Useful and useable bracelet adjustments to suit kit changes. The Ti body and bracelet makes it light on the wrist.

Only one criticism is a change in effort to turn the bezel after exposure to salt water if allowed to dry out without rinsing. So if you are in then out of the sea, if you can’t fresh water rinse, it is best to set the bezel once the watch is wet again. The detent of the bezel at 12h becomes stiffest of all. Once rinsed after play, the bezel returns to perfect feel when dry.
