Great post Jeff! These little old booklets are always...
... a charming addition to any collection, and part of our beloved watches history.
They are hard to get now, and I deeply regret not having paid the attention they deserved, when I got some of them in their time, which came with my watches. I really regret that now!
I remember a very nice booklet, which was offered by Rolex in the mid 1960´s in some magazines.
All you had to do, was to cut and mail them a little cupon with your own data, and they sent it free of charge.
It was related to the Submariner model, and had the Navy Decompression charts, as well as the Under Water Hand signal code for divers.
I kept that booklet for many years, but I lost it now. What a shame!
I enjoyed very much your post, and will look forward to assemble a little collection of these papers!
