Vintages, if kept original and harmful, are the epitome of everything (almost) I'm looking in at watches,
Each one has its own personality,
They are way more reliable than current production (any vintage complicated JLC or Patek is way more reliable and has much longer MTBF paring to their modern siblings),
They age beautifully and still keeping their own original look,
The only thing that keeps me from wearing them 24/7 is the lack of water resistance and the fact that damage from water will "kill" the watch.

All of my watches tend to be from the 40mm - 47mm range. While I like large, this 34mm and my PP vintage are so much fun on the wrist.

Exactly, these vintage aren't as almighty when it comes to wearing them. As you said, water will kill them, so I don't wear it near water in the house, like the kitchen, bath, etc. But they sure are pleasing to the eye when in good condition!
