You know how i love the brand, and it is the stairs to other watches and other brands, the watch hobby.

Your Baume and Mercier is uncommon, almost a bracelet.
I like many Baume and Mercier models, and what to think about their new Riviera? The green one is my favorite Riviera.
The sustainable Baume collection, again their own vision how to make watches.

Next to Baume and Mercier i am a sucker for Longines.
Again an affordable part of watch land.
I can’t help, i see the affordable brands as brands who can compete with big players.
When you see the price is going through the roof with AP,
and for a Rolex you must sell your house, the way to undiscovered and available watches is a small step.

I had today a few IWC’s at my internet browser.
I noticed they can not keep value, only the portugueser perpetual calendar can hold value and is a popular IWC.
But i look only such a models, because i am not such a big pilot fan.
Portuguese and portefino, inginieur, are mostly the peaces.

Thats the main reason to buy a watch imho , I don’t care if its a Big or small brand tbh . Also i will never pay a premium just get a watch , if I can’t get it at retail or below its not ment for me I always say

I enjoy my watch hobby the same way you do. But i seen a video Teddy published. He showed a Vacheron Constantin Overseas in gold. He show also a heritage 1921. I think he is also in the mood for Vacheron Constantin.
