Daytona 6265
Dear Dr Strong,
I know your a Rolex expert so perhaps you can help me.
I am big fan of the Rolex submariner and do not care for much else in Rolex.
However a friend of mine who is a watch dealer for vintage watches recently
showed me a Daytona 6265 with a brown circles. I put it on my wrist and was impressed.
Is this a good daytona to own? I am only aware that Paul Newmans are very collectible
but honestly I do not find them that attractive. Is the Rolex 6265 a good first Daytona?
I would love your opinion on this.

NATO Power
Why do most vintage watches look best with NATO Straps? I would NEVER wear any vintage diving watch or Rolex watch without a NATO. I do not like steel bracelets at all and am wondering if there are any connoisseurs who share my opinion? To briefly explain...
Aah, finally the picture comes out.
The Nato enhances the vintage character of the watch, in my opinion. It dresses it down, but it brings a lot of charm, too. very nice trio. Thanks for sharing. Nicolas.

I tend to wear nato straps with most of my watches....on dress watches it is not the case, but for any of the tool watches I think it works very well...also has teh added advantage of being able to change the personality of the watch a lot with different ...

Hi. I started with two NATO strap just for try out
But now I have ten of them. Two of them are Zulu. Having said that, I still Iike the NATO more.
