...I would say not for me. But it is really a question of culture also.
Whether for the dial or the bezel, there are other regions (than Europe) in the world where such diamond setting does not reflect neither the same feminine image nor a certain show-off / nouveau riche image (which obviously is not really very positive).
I have been told (but you know for sure much better than we do) that in Asia diamond setting only means beautiful, rich, high-end...
If it is really the case, then it is purely a question of personal taste...

I think the bezel acutally complements the dial colour quite well, and goes along with ...

Just don't expect support from the Rolex service center
Rolex is very much against aftermarket parts. If the watch needs to be repaired, the service center will quote for replacing the bezel with the original style bezel. This catches many people off-guard, especially when they buy a Rolex pre-owned and though...
