You need to call me Dr., DM, PH...
I did my DM through the Master Scuba Diver road. First all possible special courses like deep, wreck, nitrous, cave, etc. Then in DM there's more theory and that's also interesting. Diving in general is a great hobby and if you can do it with your kids, it gets even better.
Try sometimes a week in live aboard. There are great places like the Red Sea and the Similan. Naturally, many others in your part of the world.
