Rolex

Have always liked the Explorer I, but now Rolex truly got it right. 40mm, shiny dial, the word Explorer up top, the length of the indexes, the lume in the 3-6-9, the subtle curve of the case… simple and perfect. ...  

I guess I should have said perfect modern explorer. The vintage ones you’ve shown us lately are quite special.

Probably my favorite Rolex at the moment. Ooops. Did I just say that aloud? Cross it out! Delete this post! Shhhh! Uh oh. Secret's out! I just ruined my chances of ever getting this watch. Can we see more pics please?

Yes, nice details, such as the side polished link. The lever locking clasp is still a great clasp, much better than the typical friction locks on other brands of watches. So good. Best clasp in the industry. This is honestly all the watch anyone needs!

But this is very very appealing.

Can be the one and only

I think they made a trick of the eye adjustment by increasing the size of the bezel. It pushes all the elements to the center to create a compact look that’s similar to the 36. But not enough to part with my 39. It has its own quirky charm

It looks good on you and they made a good job of this one. I like my 39 just as much as you like your 40. Enjoy!
