Marlon Brando was known Rolex aficionado through his life
captured on many occasions wearing different models
mainly DateJust and GMT Master.
His parents gifted him Rolex Royalite with cool engraving on the back
To Bud from Mother & Dad 1943. Bud was nickname they gave him as a child.
Here is one very interesting Rolex...the GMT Master but without bezel that he was wearing
during filming. It can be seen well on photos taken by Mary Ellen Mark.
Why this GMT Master was without bezel is still mystery to me
anyhow another cool piece of Rolex history paired with one of best actors ever.
