A Vintage Big bubbleback..... anyone Barell award ?
Hello everyone....
Well after getting my "new" steel 6084. I really like this dial design. So when a gold example popped up on the net I grabbed it. Its apporx 34 mm and takes a 19 mm strap, but it sits high on the wrist at 13 mm thick. I like the bulk in a smaller diameter. it also has the "Super Oyster crown" its was suppose to be a non screw down waterproof system, it did not do well. So over the years most of the 6084 were converted during a typical service... Both of these still have the Super Oyster crown.

The dial has " Barell Award" in red on the dial... has any one heard of this award ?

Now i need to decided if i should find a gold bracelet or a nice long 19 mm strap... Any thought?
