A quick look at the new Rolex Cellini Moonphase

Friends,

I had the chance to see the new Rolex Cellini Moonphase.

A very elegant, pointer calendar, sector dial, moonphase, 39mm Pink Gold case.

Even if we are already aware of Cellini as a non-Rolex Rolex line, this one really don't look or feel like a Rolex, IMO.

The case is very elegant, very classy, but the dial too busy for my taste...

The combination of pointer date and moonphase, I like a lot! Normally, that would give a lot of space and focus to the moonphase and avoid the extra (date) window in the dial...

But here I find the minute track "shrinking" the dial, make what could be a quite clean and beautiful face, quite busy.

I really like the case, beautiful, elegant, the coin edge bezel is a nice touch which is followed through both on the crown and on the case back!

Very comfortable on the wrist and the moonphase do get a lot of attention on the dial!
But personally I would still have preferred without the minute track...

What's your thoughts on this new creation?
