68279 for the missus?
Passed by my friendly local vintage pusher yesterday and my wife saw a white gold 68279 from 1996. One of his regulars had traded it in for a Patek. Well, she tried it on, decided “I want!” and negotiated a rather good price, at least going by what’s listed on the usual sites.
Anything I should be aware of before we complete the deal?

Good question...serviced yes, box yes, but no papers
The maid threw them out when tidying up the house - along with an extra link to the bracelet! Watchmaker offering to open it up and show me the movement. But Mrs E wants to buy it today... Best Eli
