16800 comex matte dial
Hello all,
I promised Jeff, the review of 168000, unfortunately, it is no longer with me, however
I present a 16800 that belonged to a Comex diver.
Rolex has delivered about 300 between 1982 and 1986 (credit Delgado for doubleredseadweller)
The 16800 has existed painted dial, then, index and circled dial, both in civilian version and in Comex version.
316L steel for both, just after, Rolex will produce 168000 in 904L (Comex will receive 100 copies from 1988 to 1989)
Here is a 168000 with "small logo" dial.
Here: two 16800, a "civilian" and a Comex
Flip-lock 93150 Bracelet.
Note the insert with blue that 'well lived' and the patina of the pearl.
Triplock=300m
Each watch was delivered with the number of diver that it was intended, these data are referenced by Rolex.
EL 593
7.27M for the 16800 Comex
7.16M for the 16800
a 16800's sandwich
A little nod to Henry DELAUZE.
Thanks for reading,
Best.
