1675/16750 query - parts

Hi

Thanks for the reply.

I suppose that my main reason for not going for 1675 in the first instnce was their age (youngest appear to be 1980?) and my concern that the older the watch, the more likely over time, that problems will occur - maybe that is not strictly the case?

Just out of interest, would be grateful for any thoughts on this - if I go for something like a 1675, is it likely that replacement parts etc will still be avaliable in the future? Would hate to invest in one, only to find out in few years time if it stops working, that it cannot be fixed. I'm sure this is a question already raised by others who have vintage watches..

Should say, I already have a1680 Sub (1979) for last 2 years and apart from running a couple of minutes fast per week, I have had no problems. The possibility of lack of parts in the future for my Sub has crossed my mind though!
