Thanks to all for your very kind words and welcome.
In response to Joe's query, I have been visiting this website and have benefitted from the insightful comments provided by various participants on the forum and would like to now share my timepieces adventure with all.
I previously owned the Rolex Submariner Date (116610LN), the Daytona (116520) and the AP Royal Oak (115400ST), all at the same time for the past four years.
These are all stainless steel and while they serve their function and I do quite like their ruggedness and versatility, I soon developed an allergic reaction to the nickel contents had some really nasty rashes.
I was looking for something classic that I could wear daily with my suit and tie and hence decided on the Everose Gold Day Date.
