Where did you get those statistics? Would you judge the source to be reliable? Does the same source say Rolex watches take a year to make? Beautiful watch, congrats!

I got the stats from the Rolex Forums. It appears to be anecdotal sources from AD channel checks and a claimed corporate source. At the end of the day, it's all conjecture, but I wouldn't' be surprised if the numbers are in the ballpark as even the second... 

You're right, it is conjecture. But it does seem likely to be accurate! It's definitely a very cool and very rare Rolex. And regardless, it's your grail watch! We are all so excited when another member finally gets his grail watch as most of us haven't go...

Though a second place to me is the everose gold rootbeer tied with the yellow gold 50th-anniversary green dial.

Definitely one of the best versions of the GMT with the white gold + meteorite dial!

This one is fantastic and one of absolute favorites in the recent Rolex catalog. Congrats!

I'm also on the hunt so congratulations. You've got an amazing dial there, I've seen some Rolex meteorite dials over the years which are a bit hit and miss, the worst was on a day date which looked like a flat silver bar a few slashes at the 5 o clock. No... 

Looks amazing - enjoy. I had no joy waiting for this piece from my AD so went Grey too - no regrets, best execution of meteorite dial totally complimented by the Pepsi bezel.

Grail watch. It looks amazing. I once saw that model at an AD on wrist of a customer. I spoke with him and he told to have bought it at the AD. I tried it on my wrist and felt the feel of the watch. It is stunning watch.

really tempted to get this one, curious on your "long-term" thoughts having had it for a while? would it make a good daily?
