Just come back from Dubai, I was quite excited to visit the Mall there as there is the recently opened RM boutique to visit.
Very dissapointed indeed, they had an RM003, a Perini, but then the rest of what was there was made up of just 'blinged' RM10's and RM7's. lots of diamonds in differant versions, didnt even have an RM11 on display. Is this the way RM is going?, following on from another thread about the various colours on the RM11, it seems RM is going more 'fashion & bling' conscious than maybe it once used to.
For me I am not quite with the direction of RM nowadays, the new models and blinged up 'older' models seem to be taking the Company in the direction of costume jewellery, havent seen anything to touch my RM002. It also seems the forum is going a lot quieter, whereas it was buzzing when the RM11 came out...does that indicate that most watch enthusiasts such as myself are not overly impressed with the new stuff?, they havent created much of a buzz at all
