I totally agree on your comment Eric and it is exactly what I feel. The design/concept of RM watches are really attractive to me as well, very much indeed, especially, when I see it in metal, but the only gating (just to me, IMHO) are the quality and the testing protocols before releasing their watches to retailers. I could be wrong here, since a number of reports on this forum is insignificant compare to total watches, produced. However, it appears like most of the issues are easily can be captured before the watch leave the factory.

Yes, honestly, I also hope that RM will survive thru this tough time, which is why I mention the strategy/model/goal of the brand. BTW, the RM011 keeps speaking to me everynight after I visit my AD to see it in metal but what holding me so far is this quality concerns.

After all, I think there are both short and long terms actions that could be taking place, and I think RM may have already started looking into this seriously already, I guess, by seeing from the extending warranty for instance. So I really hope that RM's team take these inputs seriously. Again, to make oneself stand out from the pack, I don't think to claim that other are having the very same human error may not be reasonable, IMO.

Regarding the comparison with DT, yes I agree, as far as the price/quality are concerned.
