I think 'copy' is probably
too strong of a word to use if you're referring to the concept of using specially shaped screws as there're quite a few other brands who chose to use 'customized' screws such as FP Journe:

Never seen another watch using titanium 'star' screws.....quite liking this RD actually, but blimey its very RM the way the bezel is screwed down.....

These are SPLINE bolts, the design is generic... Can we say that Richard Mille copied Franck Muller with the "tonneau" form and just adding these bolts ? Inspiration is everywhere.
