I really like it. Those screws on the bezel...something about them... I also like the absurdity of the piece.
Eric, you are correct that most divers depend on dive computers rather than watches. Mostly they are used for back up. But then I'd also say that less than 1% of dive watches see seawater, let alone 35m. So this 'dive' watch is no more strange than any other.
To me, the aspects that work against it are all the nooks and crannies, perfect for corrosion (or picking up dirt..). Also, divers need big clear hands, this doesn't have them. But mainly what irks me is the press release banging on about meeting ISO. There are so many elements on the watch that clearly do not meet the spec (no lume on bezel dot?) and are mocked on much lesser watches (0-20 markers on the dial). But all press releases tend to gild the lily.
