This timepiece is special in so many ways. For me it's the ultra chic casual/sports/beater/'because I can' kind of watch. It's for the 'those who know' and 'get it' and to hell with those who don't. But most importantly, the experience of seeing and touch...

It is indeed a great joy

being able to take care of it. You seem to know that watch quite much ? I'm glad we share this feeling. It is indeed a watch that deserves to make the effort and that would fully give it back. Thanks for your words Fernando ;) Cheers, Mark

Thank you...

... for such a report. Your pics almost makes me want to get one :) I've toyed around the 35 and 27 side by side. The 27 is the main reason that can stop one from getting the 35. Everything is taken to a higher level, the 3D effect, the weight ( 35 felt a...

We talked about best choices in the other section ...

and the exercize consisting in taking only one watch in each brand. I of course played the game before asking myself wich one I would get from RM: 002, 008, 022 other etc .... And finally I came exactly to the same conclusion. The one that pushed the limi...

yes, rm27 is like a concept...

This RM035 is maybe the best option with the Vaucher based movement... Thanks a lot for the comprehensive review. Fx

A very good option

Thanks Mark, you really wrote all your impressions and how you decide to get this particular RM035, imho you couldn't have done better. And always these beautiful photos :) Richard Mille is an important brand for the way it has changed horology in 2001 (w...

Great to see you are enjoying wearing your RM035. I loved it when I took it for a 'test drive'. I have to say that the improvements between the prototype and the production version, while small, were telling and the production watch is far better. Congrat...

I still remember when I saw your post Andrew,

Beautiful photos and love your owner insights since you've had an extended time to wear your coveted RM masterpiece. Btw, do you wish the caseback wasn't as plain as it is? Cheers, Anthony

Yes I realize I'm lucky being able to enjoy it for that long

By: Mark in Paris : August 31st, 2012-14:37
A very nice watch to wear. Concerning the plain caseback, I usually prefer sapphire ones (I can make an exception for vintage watches), and for this one I was a bit disapointed at first sight when it was presented the first time. But after I could see it ...

Maybe RM could have engraved some design or something into the caseback?

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 1st, 2012-11:42
It would also reduce the weight as well. - AT

The little litterature on the case back leaves a "clean" impression to me

By: Mark in Paris : September 1st, 2012-13:57
It's quite pure as it is. I must admit that I would be afraid of the kind of engravings RM could choose (i.e. the Raphael Nadal's signature would be something I wouldn't like at all) Interesting point you emphasize concerning the weight. But I wonder if a...

A plain caseback wouldn't work for me

 By: AnthonyTsai : September 3rd, 2012-11:10
because it would leave me with the feeling of RM being lazy with the design. It would also cheapen the image of the watch too. Maybe RM could have added a geometric outline around the entire caseback. Maybe a rectangle or tourneau shaped engraved outline ...

Beautiful watch! Great for certain situations...

 By: patrick_y : September 6th, 2012-10:43
A beautiful watch. Forget all the crap that other people conjure when they think of RM. At the end of the day, we buy things that give us the proper utility ratio. Recently, I have often been wearing black V-Neck tees and jeans (some people are thinking i...

We share the same line

Thanks for the report

 By: Hamster07 : September 12th, 2012-10:55
and of course the beautiful pics. As for the case back, plain as it is, I prefer it to the transparent one coz it makes the 35 a unique and super-coooooooooooooool member of the family. Guess I should find time to visit the boutique here in Hong Kong. Wea...

A watch to be seen

By: Mark in Paris : September 13th, 2012-08:33
