Is the square shaped Emperador in rose gold with small seconds subdial and power reserve. This was one of the first Piaget's to catch my eye, and maybe its like the saying you never forget your first love. I've looked at other watches from Piaget and other brands, but I always come back to this watch. Its elegant and understated without being boring. The shape is an interesting variation of a rectangular shape. Its contoured sides look like they were designed spefically to be on a human wrist, mine specifically : )...not to mention Piaget makes a killer set of matching cufflinks that match the contoured shape of the watch case.
Some Piagets look to dressy to be worn with anything other than a suit for a formal occasion. The Emperador has style, but its not stuffy and it is versatile enough that I could wear it for any occasion.
In a world full of round watches and square watches, this watch stands out. It has its own distinctive shape, and thats something I admire about it. Its also nice because almost everyone wears or has a round watch. This is a watch you can wear without being one of the crowd. In its own understated way it helps you stand apart from the crowd. I think its a watch that is often overlooked in Piaget's collection, but this is my favorite Piaget.
Best regards,
