The pleasure of shooting, is it still the same?
At least that´s what I asked myself. My M9 is with Leica at the moment and yes I have some "defects" on my processor. Now I have to wait for further information if my case is covered by the new solution offered - free of charge.
Three years ago I had serious trouble with my M8 sensor and got the offer to trade up to M9 for a special price. I loved shooting with my M8 and even more with my M9. I am not aware of any camera that could give me that pleasure while shooting. But at the same time I am not in the mood to spent even more money in upgrading every few years. Also thought of taking a break and selling my M9 (only the camera) before purchasing a new M at a later time. Let´s see how it turns out after getting more informations about my case.
Yesterday I got a call from my AD and he said the LE bag I was waiting for is in and waiting for me. Just saw it on one picture and liked it a lot, but I told him now it doesn´t make sense without a M. He was not very happy about the situation and will try to get some more info as soon as possible.
Leica M lenses on a Sony body. Do you really like it or does it just deliver good pictures? I guess you know what I am asking here ;-)
Your decision could it work for me as well? At least I seriously have to think about, but probably would go for the lattest one ...
Best,
Oliver
ps: Kudos to Leica for their latest offer - a solution free of charge. A good decision and probably not an easy one. Respect!

The Sony looks like an interesting camera and one that I was, and still am, looking at. I'd be intrigued to see what the Pentax glass is like on it though. The Voightlander 40mm looks a good choice, also. What I notice is that some of the Zeiss lenses for...
