Quan: there was a logic behind the thinking ; )

1) I want to have both film and digital on extended trips
2) I don't load and carry both F3's at the same time
3) My digital solution (x100t) is a fixed lens / fixed FL
The thought was that if I had the F3P and Z6 I could carry one set of lenses, one set of filters, and only two bodies (the x100t would stay home). The digital solution when benefit as there would be a choice of lenses. Weight would decrease as I only carry two camera bodies.
With the F3P / Z6 solution, failure of one of the cameras would mean part of the trip would be all film or all digital... not ideal but I still get the photos.
I guess it's a moot point as during the process I decided to stick with a three camera solution for my August trip to Aomori. The kit will include the F3P, F3HP, and x100t. The film lenses will be AI'ed Nikkor-H 2.8cm f/3.5 and the AI-S 20 f/2.8, 35 f/1.4, 50 f/1.2, & 105mm f/2.8 Micro
