Photography

We all use some method to determine the appropriate exposure when taking photographs, for the most part the choice is a camera internal light meter or maybe an external handheld light meter... for the few (and I know who you are) that estimate the light v...  

I mean analyzing the performance of a specific camera and transferring that information to an external meter. Very cool. I bet product or studio photographers would get a lot of use out of this tech. I think it's good to dive into the technical stuff once... 

I can't think of a reason that it would not work with film... okay a specific film / camera setup, but if you have one favorite film, body, lens... why not. --and you don't have to have a Sekonic meter to run the analysis... the DTS can be down loaded fro... 

I asked a few people about their meters and most use 1 Deg. spot meters like Spectra Cine, Gossen Mavo spot 2usb and one said he wants a Sekonic C700R. I think the software has to be really cool for this meter, Guess I will have to Update from my Weston M...

Cannon make one heck of a camera, I remember when they first came out with the EOS, heck I still have the coffee cup that change when something Hot is pored in, it change from plain camera to camera with flash. I am sure the camera can read between flicke... 

the only difference that I have read about is the sensor filter is removed with the "R" version... I have not seen the camera in person... Just realized that there is a lot of relatively new stuff out there... Hope you had a good rest... Casey
