The word that immediately springs to mind looking at these pictures is - damp (a condition I’m all too familiar with in my part of the world). You’ve captured that dull weather beautifully. The other thing that strikes me is that the location doesn’t look at all like my idea of Japan. In fact, the third one could be a street almost anywhere in Europe. Regards Kev.

If it wasn't for the cars it would be very difficult to tell when the photos were taken which gives them a lot of charm.
